Dolls to Die For

Andrew Yang is a doll maker who I came across in my search for a ‘unique’ christening present for my niece / god daughter in Ireland.

According to his website, “Andrew spent his childhood in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he grew up around his mother’s collection of Madame Alexander dolls and eventually acquired his own collection of high-end fashion dolls.” Andrew’s dolls are inspired by fashion names and each have an indepth ‘background’ which is shared on the website.

Aside from the fact I find the dolls devilishly bizarre but at the same time strangely fascinating and I can easily picture them on my bookshelf, I don’t think I’ll be giving them to my little niece.

Then again…maybe as a keepsake when she’s older.
