I think you've made a great point that 'mini media empires' are transcending the boundaries of 'this is just my personal blog' and with that comes different ground rules. I see Wendy Harmer on her site The Hoopla is grappling with this also. As far as I can see, she is addressing the criticisms and complaints of her readers far better than Mia Freedman. Ive tried also making gluten free bread with the bread machine and have wasted about five packets of not cheap mix in the process. Having said that, i inherited a bread machine a few months ago to 'save money' but when a gluten/wheat free bread mix costs the same as the loaves of bread i tend to just grab the bread... lazy lyndal!
